Oakland-East Bay Chapter received its charter on June 19, 1952 from IMA with a chartered membership of 118. The Chapter logo was conceptualized and designed by Past President Arvid Frende in August 1990 and unanimously adopted by the board of Directors in September 1990 as the official logo for the Chapter.
